Your stay
At the Polyclinic, all consultations and treatments are performed that are possible on an outpatient basis and do not require an operating room, although a minor surgery room is available for minimal procedures. There are both general and special consultations. Approximately 30,000 patient contacts take place within this framework each year. We strive to make your stay as pleasant and as short as possible. However, if complex examinations and several instrumental examinations are necessary, this will have an effect on the procedure, and you should then allow sufficient time. Time is also difficult to estimate for emergency consultations, and longer waiting times may occur if there is a high volume of patients.
Whenever possible, you should avoid traveling by car and use public transportation, as driving is prohibited by law for a few hours after certain examinations.
It is a good idea to bring your health insurance card to each appointment, as well as an up-to-date list of your eye medications and any other pills you are taking, so that we can get an accurate overall picture of your health at all times.
If any other special arrangements are necessary for an appointment, you will be informed in advance in writing.
